TIME: 10:30 AM TO 12:00 PM Here’s how it all works together for a time of Worship: FOCUS: Open with Prayer to Prepare the Kids Hearts. PRAISE: Sing Worship Songs of Praise. LEARN: Relate Game Activities to Enhance Lesson. APPLY: Teach Them How to Apply God’s Principles to their Lives.  (Classes are split into ages brackets: 3-4, 5-6, 7-12)   In the game pictured above, the kids had to find the card that represented Jesus. I throw up a deck of card and the kids had to tell me what card represented Jesus and why! The card was the King.  In the above-pictured game, the kids had to pick the correct ball. I told them I was thinking of a ball and they had to figure out which ball it was. The balls were different sizes to make it interesting. The lesson showed us how we are all different in size, but God loves us all the same no matter what size we are.   Who: All kids in the evening worship When: Once a month Why: To help kids understand the evening message through a variety of object lessons and story time.   Kids Asking Questions about the lesson: Why did God use a boy to feed everyone? When will God answer my prayer? How does God want me to help my parents? The prayers of the kids is to: SEE YOU THERE!  “The character of your children tomorrow depends on what you put into their hearts today.” |
